Gender-Based Violence Awareness Project

Project to spread awareness about the dangers of violence based on social type
In order to spread awareness about violence and its harms in society, Nihan Organization conducted a project to spread awareness about the harms of violence based on social type in Erbil from 15/8/2022 to 15/2/2 This project was implemented by Masala Organization and Italian UPP Organization with financial support within the framework of the project (TATWEER 1). The project activities included:
1. Prepare 12 facilitators.
2. Conducting (120) seminars for high school students (boys and girls).
3. Distribution of 1000 copies of awareness booklets on the harms of gender-based violence to schools.
Target group: High school students in Erbil city center and surrounding areas.
The number of participants was as follows:
The total number of participants was: (3254) students.
Number of female participants: (1894) students.
Number of male participants: (1360) students.
For evaluation and feedback on the seminars in all seminar lists of attendees, seminar evaluation was done by the participants.
