Introduction of Nihan Organization

Nihan: A non-profit organization registered in July 2021, working to promote and provide educational services and comprehensive psychological services such as treatment, guidance, and training, dissemination of psychological awareness and dissemination of research.

Nihan was registered with the Office of NGOs under code (5234) in July (2021) in Erbil/ Iraq.

Mission

Provide guidance, treatment, counseling, and special programs in the fields of mental health and education for all sections of society enhance the abilities of people with mental problems and their families, and empower them socially according to the best results of research and scientific experiences.

Goals of Nihan Organization

1. Raising the level of individual mental culture.
2. Creating a basis for individual access to psychological and educational rights.
3. Strengthening and supporting specialized psychological institutions.
4. Work to ensure mental health care such as child protection, school mental health, prison psychological services and psychological services for women and girls.
5. Work to pay more attention to the mental balance of students, curricula, and teacher performance.
